Nestled along the serene shores of Lake Saimaa, Lomamokit Saimaanranta Suur-Saimaa Strand Resort Oy offers a perfect escape from the daily hustle and bustle. the cozy cottages, equipped with all essentials for a comfortable stay, provided us with a true home away from home. the highlight was definitely the traditional Finnish sauna - a refreshing plunge into the cold lake waters afterward was invigorating! While we initially overlooked the need for bed linen, the friendly hosts quickly arranged for a rental, easing our worries. the mornings spent on the summer terrace, soaking in the peaceful surroundings and watching the birds, were truly rejuvenating. the fireplace added a touch of warmth to the evenings, creating a cozy atmosphere for relaxation. The property's proximity to nature was a major draw for us, and we made the most of the private beach area for refreshing swims both in the morning and evening. the free WiFi allowed us to stay connected when needed, although disconnecting and embracing the tranquility of the location was a welcome change. the requirement to clean before departure was a small price to pay for such a memorable experience. Overall, our stay at Lomamokit Saimaanranta Suur-Saimaa was nothing short of fantastic. If only we had known earlier how much we would fall in love with this place - we would have extended our visit without hesitation. A hidden gem worth returning to in the future!
